Jennifer Lawrence Opens Up About Dropping Out of Middle School: 'I Never Felt Very Smart'
Jennifer Lawrence is opening up about dropping out of school at a young age.
The 27-year-old Red Sparrow actress sat down for an interview on 60 Minutes, which will air on Sunday (February 25).

During the conversation, Jennifer discussed giving up on school at the young age of 14 in order to pursue acting as a career.
“I dropped out of middle school. I don’t technically have a GED or a diploma. I am self-educated,” she said.
“I wanted to forge my own path. I found what I wanted to do and I didn’t want anything getting in the way of it. Even friends, for many years, were not as important to me as my career.”
