Carrie Underwood Posts New Selfie After Injuring Face in Fall

Carrie Underwood posted a new selfie with her husband Mike Fisher after her scary fall late last year.

The 34-year-old country singer posted the photo with the caption, “Together, we’re in it to end it! Help us shine a light on modern day slavery. @enditmovement #enditmovement.” Carrie posted the photo to raise awareness for the End It Movement.

“The End It Movement has become a global phenomenon, inspiring people from all walks of life to raise their voices and show their passion in the fight against slavery,” Jenni Brown, End It Movement Campaign Director, said. “This movement continues to be about awareness, but more importantly, this awareness leads to action. Laws are changing, bills are being passed, and more resources are becoming available thanks to Freedom Fighters who continue to charge forward and shine a light on slavery.”

If you don’t know, Carrie has barely been seen after she took a bad fall at her home, got over 40 stitches in her face, and had to undergo wrist surgery.

It was very nice of him to show off the fist he beat her with.

She is milking it now. Just show your picture, people get injuries and have to deal with it. It is a good role model for little kids who feel like their lives are over bc of scarring. Your fans will stay with you but stop playing up the fact that you can’t show your face. The point is that we all can show our faces and should not feel ashamed.

she’s an idiot. there’s probably nothing wrong with her face. she’s just desperate for attention.

Stop with the fall and just admit to plastic surgery, Carrie.

  • Sara

I don’t see any injury to her face at all. Am I missing something?

  • soyeahsowhat

it better look horrible when she finally does the “reveal” b/c it seems like a lot of energy being focused on nothing right now

  • delilah

I don’t believe her story. I think she got botched plastic surgery and is embarrassed by it. Sane people don’t hide away for months after getting some stitches from an accident.

  • Sansa Squad

I vaguely remember reading the stitches were down the side of her face, so could be covered by her hair?

  • Sansa Squad

I agree her story sounds a little off and I’m sure there’s more to it than she’s letting on, but to be fair, facial scars/injuries are known to be deeply traumatic and can often send people into severe depression, so the “hiding away” doesn’t seem too odd to me (especially when you see what a big deal these celeb gossip sites are making about it – I don’t blame her for wanting to stay lowkey)
