Tatiana Maslany to Star in New Play Written by Tracy Letts!

Tatiana Maslany will be making her New York stage debut in the upcoming production of Mary Page Marlowe, a new play written by Tony winner Tracy Letts.

The title character in the play is portrayed by five actresses at different points in her life. While casting for the additional actresses will be announced shortly, we have to suggest Tatiana for all the roles just as she does on Orphan Black!

Here is the play’s synopsis: “If you looked back on eleven moments from your life, would you recognize yourself, or would you see a stranger? Mary Page Marlowe is a seemingly ordinary accountant from Ohio who has experienced pain and joy, success and failure. In this sweeping but intimate play, Tracy Letts gives us a haunting portrait of a complex woman, demonstrating how a series of forgotten moments can add up to one memorable life.”

Letts wrote the Pulitzer Prize-winning play August: Osage County, which was made into a film of the same name. He is also an actor who most recently appeared in The Post and on two seasons of Homeland.

Mary Page Marlowe begins performances at Second Stage’s Tony Kiser Theater on Juny 19.
