Demi Lovato's Friend Proposes to His Boyfriend at Her L.A. Concert!

Demi Lovato looks on with a huge smile while her friends get engaged live on stage at her concert on Friday night (March 2) at The Forum in Los Angeles.

Towards the middle of the show, the 25-year-old entertainer told the crowd that she needed an audience member to join her on stage.

Her dancers brought up Rayvon Owen on stage and Demi told the audience how she actually knew him. When she asked who he was with at the show, he said his boyfriend Shane Bitney Crone and they tried looking for him in the crowd.

At that moment, Shane popped up out of an elevator lift in the stage to surprise Rayvon and said some romantic things before getting down on one knee to propose! Rayvon said “yes” of course and then Demi sang her song “Yes” to them while they sat on stage.

If you didn’t know, Shane is a filmmaker and LGBT rights activist who made the documentary Bridegroom, which was about the difficulties he faced after his partner died in 2011. Rayvon is a singer-songwriter who came in fourth place on season 14 of American Idol.
