Sterling K. Brown broke down in tears during Saturday Night Live tonight!

During his opening monologue, the 41-year-old star of This Is Us tried to keep his composure together without his emotions getting the best of him – but it didn’t work.

In between scenes, Sterling also (jokingly) revealed what the K in his name stood for!

“It’s SNL, you know. I mean, how lucky am I to be here, and on top of everything I’ve gotten to do in the last few years, it’s just like the icing on the cake,” Sterling said to himself. “Get it together, Sterling Kathleen.”
