Meet Taylor Louderman, Regina George in Broadway's 'Mean Girls,' with These 10 Fun Facts (Exclusive)

Taylor Louderman is about to become one of Broadway’s biggest stars thanks to her role as Regina George in Mean Girls and we caught up with her to learn more about her!

The 27-year-old actress is no stranger to bringing a film role to life on stage as she previously originated a character inspired by Kirsten Dunst‘s Campbell in Bring It On: The Musical.

Since then, Taylor has been working steadily in the New York theater scene and she also starred as Wendy Darling in NBC’s Peter Pan Live!

Here are 10 Fun Facts about the rising star:

  • 1. I am from a small town in Missouri where the cattle population exceeds the human population. No stoplights. No McDonald’s. Yes, electricity.
  • 2. I have four younger sisters; we are all addicted to The Sims (all expansion packs). Mom gets so annoyed. ;-)
  • 3. I enjoy self-help books. Just finished “Give And Take” by Adam Grant. Inspiring me to be more of a “giver” because why else do I exist.
  • 4. I played years of basketball, soccer, and volleyball growing up. My dad coached me in a lot of sports.
  • 5. I eat a little bit of Halo Top every night. :-/

  • 6. I broke my arm twice in the same spot when I was in 5th grade and to this day it does not quite function as it should.
  • 7. I am really into hygge. Pronounced “HUE-GAH”: a danish word describing a quality of coziness and comfortability that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being. I bought a faux fireplace for my apartment on Amazon for $200. My friends come over and fall asleep on my couch. I think that is success.
  • 8. I have a deviated septum, but I’ve chosen to embrace my asymmetrical nostrils. However, I do prefer one side of my face over the other.
  • 9. I directed, created, and starred in various self produced pageant series and talk shows at the young age of 13. That’s a fancy way for saying I stole my mom’s camcorder and made my little sisters and friends play supporting characters.
  • 10. I am an advocate for Type 1 Diabetes Research. It runs in my family; cousins on both sides of the fam, and one of my little twin sisters has it.

Make sure to see Mean Girls on Broadway and get your tickets while you still can!
