Get to Know Madeline Carroll with These 10 Fun Facts (Exclusive)

Madeline Carroll‘s new movie I Can Only Imagine is in theaters now and we caught up with the actress to learn more about her!

The 21-year-old actress has previously been seen in movies like Flipped and Mr. Popper’s Penguins. She also played Karen Grant on Scandal.

Get to know her with these 10 Fun Facts:

• 1. I am born and raised in Los Angeles California which is like finding a unicorn! Everyone is usually from somewhere else and moved here.
• 2. I didn’t pursue acting it fell on my lap when I was discovered at a nail salon at 3 and half years old by Wendy Green, who was my agent for 11 years.
• 3. I love reading. One of my favorite books is “Trimalchio,” which is actually an early version of The Great Gatsby, which by the way I saw it in theatres about 4 times, and anyone who knows me knows my favorite actor ever is Leo DiCaprio, preferably 1995 Leo.
• 4. One of my favorite movies is Legally Blonde. I watch it all the time. I like to have things on in the background if I am home and it is usually Legally Blonde, Clueless, or 16 Candles, and I’ve maybe seen Pride and Prejudice 30 times (with Keira Knightley).
• 5. I love hiking. One of my favorite places is Lake Hollywood.

• 8. My favorite restaurants in LA are Fat Sals, Mulberry Street, and the Farmers Market.
• 9. You can probably see me any time of the week at the Arclight Hollywood. It is pretty much my second home.
• 10. I feed the homeless at skid row every Tuesday night with my family. We have a partnership with the dream center and I am thankful I get the opportunity to do something edifying and know that it isn’t about what we receive, it’s about what we give and I’m thankful to god I get the chance to do that.
