Angelina Jolie Didn't Take Her Kids to See Alicia Vikander's 'Tomb Raider'

Angelina Jolie supported Alicia Vikander‘s turn as Lara Croft in Tomb Raider, which opened this weekend!

People is reporting that the 42-year-old director, actress, and humanitarian took her kids, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 11, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 9, to a Los Angeles screening over the weekend.

If you don’t know, Angelina played Lara Croft in the 2001 movie and the 2003 sequel as well.

Alicia previously spoke about following in Angelina‘s footsteps in the role.

“I think she’s an incredible actress and I also look up to her, being a filmmaker and a producer,” she said. “But I took on this role because I felt like there was really a drive with the people that were already on board on this project, but to make something new.”

UPDATE: A moviegoer just confirmed that Angelina took her children to see Love, Simon not Tomb Raider.
