Christina Aguilera Shows Off Her Freckles for 'Paper' Transformation Cover!

Christina Aguilera is showing off her transformation on the cover of Paper magazine‘s new issue!

The 37-year-old singer is unrecognizable in the new photo shoot, in which she is wearing minimal makeup and lets her freckles shine through.

“I’ve always been someone that obviously loves to experiment, loves theatrics, loves to create a storyline and play a character in a video or through stage,” Christina told the mag while her makeup artist removed glitter from her eyelids. “I’m a performer, that’s who I am by nature. But I’m at the place, even musically, where it’s a liberating feeling to be able to strip it all back and appreciate who you are and your raw beauty.”

Christina did clarify with the mag that she’s not getting rid of her makeup in the future. She said, “I mean, I’m a girl that likes a beat face, let’s not get it twisted.”
