Gina Rodriguez to Star as Carmen Sandiego in Live-Action Movie for Netflix!

Gina Rodriguez is set to star in an upcoming live-action movie based on the classic character Carmen Sandiego!

The 33-year-old Golden Globe-winning actress will also produce the movie and she will voice the role for a separate Carmen Sandiego animated series set to debut in 2019.

No writer or director is attached to the project yet, according to Deadline.

Gina most recently starred in the movie Annihilation and she is still playing the title role in the CW series Jane The Virgin.
