John Legend Reveals Inspiration Behind Newborn Son Miles' Name, Chrissy Teigen Reacts!

John Legend is looking so suave on the red carpet at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday (May 20) in Las Vegas.

While on the red carpet, the 39-year-old entertainer revealed the inspiration behind his newborn baby son Miles‘ name. John and Chrissy welcomed Miles Theodore, this past week, and revealed his full name and first photo earlier today.

“We named our first daughter Luna Simone Stephens and every name we give to our kids I think will have a little bit of musical history to it. So Miles of course is the same name as the great Miles Davis and Chrissy really liked the name Theodore, so we put it all together,” John said on the red carpet. “When he came out and we hung out with him for a little while, we were like, ‘He looks like a Miles.’ We’re so excited to have him in the family now.”

Shortly after John‘s red carpet interview, Chrissy posted on Twitter, reacting to his quote.

“wow didn’t u just have a baby John smh go take care of it !!!!!! disgusting,” she jokingly posted.

FYI: John is wearing Gucci.
