'13 Reasons Why' Cast Opens Up About Addressing Gun Violence & #MeToo on Their Show

Dylan Minette, Alisha Boe, Christian Navarro, Devin Druid and Ross Butler are opening up about tackling real issues on 13 Reasons Why.

The co-stars made an appearance on Build Series on Tuesday morning (May 22) in New York City.

During their chat, Christian talked about the importance of addressing issues like gun violence, sexual assault and suicide in their show. The cast also revealed their thoughts on the unexpected summer fling that happens between Hannah and Zach in Season 2.

Alisha also opened up about what it’s like telling the story of a sexual assault survivor as Jessica Davis at the same time as the #MeToo movement.
