Prince William Honors Manchester Bombing Victims on One Year Anniversary

Prince William walks alongside the Dean of Manchester, Rogers Govender, at the Manchester Arena National Service of Commemoration at Manchester Cathedral on Tuesday (May 22) in Manchester, England.

If you don’t remember, last year on this day, twenty two people were killed and hundreds were injured when a bomb was detonated during Ariana Grande‘s concert at the Manchester Arena.

“The multi-faith service remembered those who lost their lives in the tragedy, and was attended by the bereaved and survivors. It also gave thanks to emergency workers who assisted on the ground and in the aftermath of the attack on #ManchesterArena,” Kensington Palace said in a statement.

This marks Prince William‘s first event since the Royal Wedding.
