BTS Notch First Top 10 Billboard Hot 100 Hit for a K-Pop Group!

BTS just keep making history!

The super popular South Korean pop group not only debuted at No. 1 with their latest album Love Yourself: Tear, but notched the first-ever K-Pop group Top 10 hit with “Fake Love” as of this week, according to the chart company.

The song debuted at No. 10 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart, marking the first Hot 100 Top 10 for a K-Pop group. It’s also the first K-Pop song to debut in the Top 10. They also broke their own record for highest-charting Hot 100 hit for a K-Pop group!

When it comes to K-Pop acts, oly PSY has charted higher in the United States, when “Gangnam Style” hit No. 2 in 2012 and “Gentleman” went to No. 5 in 2013.

Plus, “Fake Love” went to No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart – another record for K-Pop groups. Congratulations, BTS!
