Roseanne Barr Slams Co-Stars Who Spoke Out About Her Tweet: 'You Threw Me Under the Bus'

Roseanne is firing back at her co-stars for “throwing her under the bus” after she tweeted a racist statement that caused the cancellation of the ABC show.

Specifically, Roseanne responded to Michael Fishman, who played D.J. Conner on the show. He released a lengthy statement which read, “the cast, crew, writers and production staff strived for inclusiveness…The words of one person do not exemplify the thinking of all involved.”

Roseanne responded, “i created the platform for that inclusivity and you know it.ME . You throw me under the bus. nice!”

Roseanne also responded to Sara Gilbert‘s tweets about the controversy.

You threw yourself under the bus ma’am. Don’t be mad people are trying to save their jobs and livelihoods.

  • 777

And she threw all of them under the bus, thanks to her they lost their jobs.

  • Casey C

everyone involved, including the much lesser paid crew, all lost their jobs. she threw THEM under the bus

  • Stoni

Shut up Roseanne. You’ve said enough.

  • Anne Rogers

You mean because they weren’t talented enough to earn money after Roseanne ended the first time?

It’s not her fault that most of them were out-of-work has-beens until the show came back.

  • plez

WTF is Roseanne talking about. Before Trump became president he was engaging in this type of back and forth and attacking people because of their comments or decisions.

  • patrickdornoff

john goodman is not an outta work has been

  • greppinwolf

John Goodman and Laurie Metcalf are far from “has beens.” Rosanne Barr was the has been. A nobody who disappeared out of the zeitgeist until this revival. I assumed JG and LM were doing this as a favour to help RB.

You misunderstood me. Everyone has lucrative careers except ol’ Rosie. My point was these people had to distance themselves because of how it could effect their careers with silence as it can be taken as compliance with her disturbing words.

Nobody threw you under any bus you maniac. You have ALWAYS been a monster, it wasnt your meds, its wants your co-stars its YOU and always has been YOU.

    They sure did!!

I never watched the original series for Roseanne Barr. I watched for the brilliant work of Laurie Metcalf, John Goodman, and the other marvelous actors that graced the cast. I hate that they all have to suffer because of Roseanne’s twisted psyche. But, with the parent company pulling the reruns of the original series, I cannot help but think on the nine-year body of work these actors created now being relegated to the trash heap.

sweetheart you are not in position to be throwing shade

look at her making herself the victim. Roseanne, you’re 60 years old, it’s time for you AND Trump to stop acting like 12 year olds.

  • MyName

The reboot wouldn’t have lasted anyway. It’s ratings were only about people tuning in to see what became of the characters. It would have been cancelled soon after the newness wore off anyway.
The cast is better off away from RB.
She is sadly one of those who try to get attention by doing something controversial.

Really? What have Becky #1 and the Fishman kid been doing?

  • Anne Rogers

So she does guest bits on other shows- great career. He guest stars on Saturday Night Live (how is that still on?) and does voice acting- always the sign of an actor staying on top.

  • jh7058622

Outside of then who have faded into obscurity 5 out of 7 supporting cast members having good careers ain’t bad.

  • Anne Rogers

John Goodman- voice actor- the last refuge of the has-been.
    Laurie Metcalf- professional guest actor.
Sara Gilbert- talk show host- like Jerry Springer.
Sarah Chalke- the only one to succeed after the apparent Roseanne curse.
