LeBron James & Stephen Curry Say Their Teams Won't Visit White House If They Win NBA Finals

LeBron James and Stephen Curry might be competing against each other in the 2018 NBA Finals, but the two basketball stars are on the same page when it comes to one thing.

During a press conference on Tuesday (June 5), the 33-year-old Cleveland Cavilers player addressed President Trump dis-inviting Super Bowl winners the Philadelphia Eagles to the White House over their opposing views on kneeling for the National Anthem.

LeBron shared his thoughts on the decision, and revealed that neither the Cavilers or the Golden State Warriors plan on visiting Trump at the White House if they win the Finals.

“It’s typical of him,” LeBron said of Trump. “I’m not surprised. I mean, no matter who wins this series, no one wants the invite anyway. It won’t be Golden State or Cleveland going.”

After winning the Finals last year and skipping out on the White House, Stephen said he doesn’t plan on going if he wins again this year.

“I’m pretty sure the way we handled things last year,” Stephen shared during press conference, “we’ll stay consistent with that.”

The Cavaliers will face the Warriors in Game 3 on Wednesday, June 6, on ABC.
