'Bachelorette' Contestant Lincoln Adim Convicted of Assault & Battery

One of The Bachelorette contestants vying for Becca Kufrin‘s heart has been convicted of assault after groping a woman on a cruise.

Contestant Lincoln Adim, who is currently still on the show, was found guilty on the charges of indecent assault and battery on May 21st.

According to People, the charges stem from an incident in May of 2016 when Lincoln groped and assaulted an adult female on a harbor cruise ship in New York.

Lincoln was sentenced to a year behind bars, with that term being suspended for a two-year probationary period.

“The judge ordered him to stay away from the victim and attend three Alcoholics Anonymous meetings per week during those two years,” Press Secretary of the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office said.

He added, “If he complies with the judge’s orders, he will not have to serve out his term, but if he fails to comply with those orders or re-offends, he could be ordered to serve out the year behind bars. By law, he is expected to register as a sex offender.”
