Pregnant Claire Danes Says She Got Winded Presenting at Tony Awards 2018

Claire Danes hit Seth Meyers‘ couch on Late Night on Wednesday (June 13) and revealed she struggled to present at the 2018 Tony Awards over the weekend.

“Occasionally I’ll stand up and get profoundly winded and this was one of those occasions,” the 39-year-old pregnant Homeland star told Seth. “I was like, ‘Oh my god, I don’t have access to oxygen like at all and I’m supposed to be reading in front of millions of people.”

“Eventually I caught my breathe but I didn’t want to detract from like the nominees. It wasn’t about me being pregnant in that second but it happened,” Claire continued.
