Prince William Skips Royal Ascot Day for Liverpool's International Business Festival
Prince William had a perfectly good excuse to skip Royal Ascot Day at the Ascot Racecourse.
The 35-year-old Duke of Cambridge suited up to attend the 2018 International Business Festival at the Liverpool Exhibition Centre on Tuesday (June 19) in Liverpool, England.

Prince William is the festival’s patron for 2018, and congratulated the thousands of delegates there for bringing together businesspeople “to build networks and to share knowledge.”
William also took time in Liverpool to open the James Wentworth-Stanley Memorial Fund, or James’ Place, which is the first-ever non-clinical center in the U.K. for men in suicidal crisis.
