The magazine evaluated contenders by looking a their global impact on social media and ability to drive news

No surprise, BTS made the list thanks to becoming the highest-charting K-pop album ever when their album Love Yourself: Tear debuted on top of the Billboard 200.

Kylie Jenner revealing daughter Stormi‘s name on Instagram becoming the most liked photo ever secured her spot on the list this year.

Other stars on the list included Rihanna, HQ host Scott Rogowsky, Busy Philipps, the Students of Parkland, Florida, and even President Trump.
