'Indiana Jones 5' Pushed Back - Find Out the New Release Date!

Indiana Jones 5 is going to take a little longer to hit theaters.

The upcoming Disney picture will now be released on July 9, 2021, the studio revealed on Tuesday (July 10).

The Steven Spielberg-directed fifth installment of the Indiana Jones series was originally due to hit theaters on July 10, 2020, but was pushed back due to script issues.

Collider recently reported that Jonathan Kasdan, the son of the Raiders of the Lost Ark script writer, Lawrence Kasdan, will be brought onboard to the project.

Both Steven and Harrison Ford reportedly remain committed to getting the sequel made.
