Maggie Gyllenhaal Gets Help from Celeb Friends to Tell Story of an Immigrant Separated From Her Son

Maggie Gyllenhaal is getting support from a lot of her celeb friends to bring attention to the thousands of children separated form their families at the border.

The Oscar-nominated actress partnered with the ACLU for the video, which tells the story of Mirian, a Honduran mother separated from her 18-month-old son.

Mirian is part of the ACLU’s class-action lawsuit challenging the separation of children and parents at the border.
