Prince William Tweets Message for Team England After World Cup Loss

Prince William is offering words of encouragement after England lost to Croatia on the path to the World Cup final on Wednesday (July 11).

The 36-year-old royal left a message on the official Kensington Palace Twitter account.

“I know how disappointed @england must feel right now but I couldn’t be more proud of this team and you should hold your heads high. You’ve had an incredible #WorldCup, made history, and gave us fans something to believe in. We know there is more to come from this @england team. W,” he wrote.

The team lost to Croatia, who now advances to the final against France on Sunday (July 15) in Moscow, Russia. England, meanwhile, will have a rematch with Belgium for the third-place game.
