Chadwick Boseman Will Play Disgraced NYPD Detective in '17 Bridges'

Chadwick Boseman has his next movie role lined up!

The 40-year-old Black Panther actor is set to produce and star in the upcoming action-thriller movie 17 Bridges, Variety reports.

Chadwick will be portraying a disgraced New York City detective who is given a shot at redemption after being thrust into a citywide manhunt for a cop killer.

Chadwick will be re-teaming with Avengers: Infinity War directors Joe and Anthony Russo – who are attached to direct the movie.

17 Bridges will begin production in September.
