Jessica Simpson Responds to Mom-Shamers Over Video of Son Ace in the Pool with Arm Cast

Jessica Simpson is responding to those who mom-shamed her for posting a video of her son Ace, 5, being thrown up in the air in pool by his dad, Eric Johnson, while wearing a cast on his arm.

“I posted Ace in the pool with a cast on because there is really no stopping a child, that’s him, he only has to have the cast on for three weeks, he was in the pool that day. I don’t even know if the cast molded on to him yet. Listen, it makes him happy and it’s kids being kids. He is in my husband’s hands. I know he’s okay,” Jessica told Extra.

She added that she had a message to those who shamed her for posting the video: “If people were in that situation, if they had a husband like mine, they would feel comfortable.”

Do people just not mind their own business anymore? Who cares, she shouldn’t have to respond to fuck all… let the woman raise her kid the way she wants to. Shes right, Kids will be fucking kids.

So stupid… It’s a medical decision, it’s not “kids being kids”, or her husband’s confidence.

She is right about kids being kids and not caring even if they are hurt. I’ve been there when one child can’t do something while others can and it’s not fun…but there is a reason they say don’t go into the water with a cast. It happened to a friend of mine when we were kids. It was summer and he saw the rest of us in the pool and since there were no adults to stop us, he did the same. When it came to the 6 week mark where it was to be replaced with a smaller one, it turned out it had got infected and her had it for another few months than he needed to to this day, he still has a scar on his arm because of the dead skin.
