Palace Responds to Report That Prince Charles & Prince William Refused to Meet Donald Trump
Over the weekend, a rumor began spreading after a source said that Prince Charles and Prince William, who are second and third in line for the throne, refused to meet with Donald Trump during his visit.
The President did meet with Queen Elizabeth while in London, England.
A palace spokesperson is now confirming that this rumor is totally false.
“In line with standard practice for guest of government visits the President was received by The Queen as Head of State. The arrangements were mutually agreed between the Palace and the U.K. and U.S. governments,” the spokesperson told People. “There was never a suggestion that other members of the royal family would take part.”
