Carey Mulligan Says She's 'Absolutely Dying To Do A Contemporary Film'!

Jake Gyllenhaal keeps it cool and casual as he steps out to promote his latest film Wildlife on Monday evening (October 15) in New York City.

That same day, the 37-year-old actor’s co-star Carey Mulligan and the film’s writer-director Paul Dano stepped out to promote Wildlife at their special BUILD Series panel.

Carey also recently opened up about being ready for something more modern day.

“I’m absolutely dying to do a contemporary film. I can’t even begin to tell you how much,” Carey expressed. “Every time I get a great script, it just happens to be a period film. There is something wonderful about getting to visit different eras. But I’d also completely love to do something contemporary. But it just doesn’t happen.”
