Julia Louis-Dreyfus Talks Beating Breast Cancer on 'Jimmy Kimmel': 'I Feel Strong'

Julia Louis-Dreyfus visited Jimmy Kimmel Live! in Brooklyn on Thursday night (October 18) and discussed her breast cancer battle.

“I’m good. I’m here. I know we have to get this cancer shit out of the way so bring on the questions,” the 57-year-old Veep star joked. “I feel very strong”

Julia addressed why she opted to be so public during her battle with breast cancer, which she first revealed in September 2017: “I got a lot of positive feedback, I think people liked that I had a sense of humor about it and also I think it’s an important conversation to have about health and health care,” Julia expressed. “Health care should be for all.”

Julia also talked about the last season of her hit HBO show Veep, why it’s bittersweet, and reveals how she feels about receiving the 2018 Mark Twain Prize – Watch more after the cut!
