'Avengers 4' Fan Theory Confirmed By This Marvel Actor

Avengers 4 will feature flashbacks, which is something many die-hard fans had theorized about after seeing set photos.

Frank Grillo, who has played Brock Rumlow, a Hydra agent and terrorist Crossbones in the Marvel universe, confirmed that he will be back for the fourth Avengers film via a flashback. Crossbones died in Captain America: Civil War.

“He makes an appearance in the next Avengers movie. But it’s a flashback… I’m allowed to say whatever I want because I’m never doing another Marvel movie,” Frank said on a recent UFC Unfiltered podcast.

Fans began speculating about flashbacks or possible time travel upon seeing photos of Chris Evans in his Captain America suit from circa 2012 Avengers.
