Emily VanCamp Says It's 'Weird' Being Part of Marvel Cinematic Universe

Emily VanCamp hit Seth Meyers couch on Late Night on Wednesday (October 24) and talked all about preparing for her role on The Resident, the hate mail her family sends her and being a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The 32-year-old actress portrayed Sharon Carter in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War and will reprise her role in Avengers 4.

“It’s been amazing, I mean everyone has been incredible and the movies are amazing so it’s just incredible to be a part of them,” Emily expressed. “But being on that stage (class photo) was just weird, I was like ‘what am I doing here. Who said to call Emily VanCamp because this is crazy.’”

“It’s so many famous people and so many people I respect and love,” Emily added.
