Sean Hayes is helping out!

The Will & Grace star made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday (November 2).

During his appearance, Sean helps Ellen during her monologue for a segment called “She Said, He Said,” where they give their comedic take on news headlines. Later in the show, Sean shares how he saved himself from embarrassment after his very first dinner with the cast and crew of Will & Grace.

Then, he chats about his new children’s book, Plum, inspired by The Nutcracker’s Sugar Plum Fairy. Plus, Sean shows Ellen just how much he loves the beloved ballet by acting out all of the instruments from the score.
