Jake Gyllenhaal Helps Stephen Colbert Get Ready For Election Day in Parody Video - Watch Now
Stephen Colbert is celebrating Election Day Eve with some help from Jake Gyllenhaal!
In the The Late Show‘s opening sketch, Stephen portrays an Ebenezer Scrooge-type character who gets visited by three ghosts – Republican leaders Chuck Grassley, Mitch McConnell and Orrin Hatch.
When he steps outside, he’s relieved to be informed by Jake that the election hadn’t happened yet.
Jake seemed to be a little bit more worried though that Stephen wasn’t wearing any pants!
“Stephen professes his seasonal excitement to Late Show townsperson #JakeGyllenhaal during the most wonderful time of the year: the Midterms!” the show shared on their Twitter.
