Zayn Malik Hasn't Spoken to Any of the One Direction Guys in a 'Long Time'

Zayn Malik is featured in British Vogue‘s December 2018 issue, on newsstands on November 9.

Here’s what the 25-year-old entertainer had to share with the mag…

On not speaking to anyone from One Direction anymore: “Nah. I ain’t spoke to any of them for a long time, to be honest with you. That’s just the way it is. There’s things that happen and things that were said after I left …Snide things. Small things that I would never have expected. That’s just the way it is. People move on, people grow apart, people grow up.”

On his girlfriend Gigi Hadid: “Everything is great…She’s super-organised and I’m really not. It helps that she can get things together for me a little bit. I lean on her a lot.”

On walking away from One Direction without having made a single friend: “I have always been a bit like that, though – always a bit of an island. I don’t like to confer with too many people.”

This guy is very likeable. I like how he just doesn’t even pretend to have any relationship with those losers. They treated him like a prop, not like a person.

  • Nurse Shadie

Interesting…I have the opposite opinion on him. He’s always come off as pretentious and at times ungrateful. Not to mention his music ended up just being generic mumble rnb which was a bit disappointing.

  • Effy

Same here. He gives off a very ungrateful vibe for a band that literally made him famous.

  • Ash

    He’s an entitled crackwhore.

I think you’ve got it all turned around. He’s done nothing but talk trash about the band that literally gave him his career and made him millions and is still to this day the only thing that makes him relevant. It’s been what four years since he left? And still the only thing he’s ever asked about is his time in the band and his relationship. Because his music is trash and he’s a shit person with a bland af personality.

  • DeadP001

They asked him questions and he answers then really honestly. I got respect for somebody who does that.
