Nicole Kidman Explains Why She Doesn't See Herself as a Celebrity

Nicole Kidman is on the cover of Allure magazine’s Out of Office issue, on newsstands on November 20.

Here’s what the actress had to share with the mag…

On her faith: “I’m spiritual in that I absolutely believe in God. I loved the idea of being a nun. Obviously, I did not choose to go that path, but I was very drawn to it.”

On why she doesn’t see herself as a celebrity: “I don’t see myself as a celebrity. I’m not a celebrity. I’m not a movie star. I feel like I’m an actor. Beyoncé is a celebrity. And that’s a much bigger thing.”

On her neighbor, Reese Witherspoon: “We have a beach house, and we will get up in the morning before we have breakfast, and we’ll go in the ocean. Reese [Witherspoon] is our next-door neighbor. Reese will be going, ‘What are you doing in the water, you lovebirds?’ She’ll tease us because she rarely goes in the ocean. ‘You crazy Australian kids.’”
