Leonardo DiCaprio & Robert De Niro Pay Tribute to Martin Scorsese at MoMA Film Benefit
Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio step out to honor Martin Scorsese!
The actors and the 76-year-old Academy Award–winning director joined forces at The Museum Of Modern Art Film Benefit Presented By CHANEL: A Tribute To Martin Scorsese on Monday (November 19) in New York City.
The gala featured a tribute to Martin from Leonardo, Robert, and Jonah Hill, along with pre-recorded well-wishes from Margot Robbie, Cate Blanchett, and Ray Romano. Harvey Keitel was also in attendance.
“Martin Scorsese is not only one of cinema’s most incredible talents, but a personal hero and a friend,” Leonardo shared on Instagram. “It was an honor to celebrate you tonight, @martinscorsese_. @themuseumofmodernart #MoMAFilmBenefit.”
Leonardo and Martin have worked on Gangs of New York, The Aviator, The Departed, Shutter Island, and The Wolf of Wall Street. Robert and Martin teamed up for Taxi Driver, New York, New York, Goodfellas, Casino, The Irishman, and more. All three collaborated for the short film The Audition.
