Natalie Dormer & Fiance Anthony Byrne Split After 11 Years Together

Natalie Dormer and her longtime love Anthony Byrne have ended their relationship after 11 years together.

The 36-year-old Game of Thrones actress confirmed the news in a new profile for the New Statesman. The news comes after the release of Natalie and Anthony‘s movie In Darkness this past summer. They co-wrote the film with Natalie starring in it and Anthony directing.

The outlet wrote, “The two met on the set of The Tudors; they’ve parted ways since promoting the film this summer.”

In interviews about In Darkness, both Natalie and Anthony have admitted that writing together was a difficult process.

“Couples say terrible things to each other that you would never say to your best friend. We learned very quickly that we couldn’t write in the same room,” Natalie told You magazine.

Anthony told THR, “We learned quickly but we didn’t learn from our mistakes. Because we didn’t have an office or anything, we were in our own home writing, and then it would all kick off because we would disagree about something fundamentally or I would be a pain in the a**e.”
