Miley Cyrus Sings 'Santa Baby' With a Feminist Twist for 'Fallon'

Miley Cyrus is putting a feminist spin on the classic holiday song “Santa Baby” for her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon!

The 26-year-old singer teamed up with Jimmy Fallon and Mark Ronson for a cover of the holiday tune and she said she had some issues with the lyrics.

“Santa baby, I don’t need any fancy jewelry. Not me. I’ve got something else in mind,” Miley sings in the updated version. “Don’t want diamonds, cash or stocks. Nothing that comes in a box. No more fluff, I’ve had enough. And I can buy my own damn stuff.”

Miley also sings that a girl’s best friend is “equal pay.”
