Colin Farrell Opens Up About His 'Inspiring' Friend Living with Rare Condition - Watch Here

Colin Farrell steps out after his appearance on The Late Late Show on Friday night (December 21) in Dublin, Ireland.

The 42-year-old actor kept things cool in a black jacket, gray button-down shirt, and black jeans for his appearance on the show.

During his appearance, Colin was joined by his friend Emma Fogarty – who was born with Epidermolysis bullosa (EB) – to help raise awareness for her condition.

“It’s an incredibly rare condition but it’s one that has a kind of particular cruelty to it that I couldn’t imagine living through,” Colin shared. “Her spirit is incredible.”

More than 80% of Emma‘s body is covered with wounds comparable to third degree burns and despite her fingers gradually fusing together, she endures four-and-a-half hours of painful bandaging every other day to cover her open wounds.

“You’re the most amazing person I’ve ever met,” Colin told Emma. “You’re really just so inspiring.”
