Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino Celebrates 3 Years of Sobriety!

It’s a big day for Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino!

The 36-year-old Jersey Shore star took to Instagram on Saturday (December 22) to mark three years of being sober – and is helping give back this holiday season.

“Big daddy Sitch celebrating 3 years of sobriety & teaming up with @discoveryinstitute_nj to bring a holiday meal to Phoenix Recovery House in Eatontown NJ for Christmas,” Mike wrote.

In another video posted to the Discovery Institute for Addictive Disorders‘ Instagram – a nonprofit treatment center where he spent six months in rehab – Mike opened up about filming Jersey Shore: Family Vacation sober.

“I was actually a bit insecure,” Mike said. “I was known to be one of the bigger partiers on Jersey Shore. I told myself, I’m going to have to continue to challenge myself in my recovery.”
