Dominic West Suggests Next James Bond Actor Be Transgender

Dominic West is a British actor who has been linked to the iconic role of James Bond in the past and now he has a cool casting idea for the next Bond.

The 49-year-old The Affair actor says he’d like to see a transgender actor play the role!

Dominic brought up Hannah Graf, the highest-ranking transgender soldier in the British Army. He knows her as he worked with Hannah‘s husband Jake in the film Collette.

“She’s a beautiful girl who could be Bond. That’s actually a brilliant idea. They should have a transgender Bond because there are a lot of transgender people in the army,” Dominic told Sunday Times Magazine.

“I’m very flattered that Dominic thought of me,” Hannah said in response to the casting idea. “I don’t think I’m going to become an actress anytime soon, but there’s no reason why there shouldn’t be a transgender Bond. We’ve seen too many men in hero-type roles and women playing second fiddle.”

A new Bond is needed as Daniel Craig will make his final appearance in the franchise in the next film.
