Netflix is notorious for not reporting how many people watch each movie or series on the streaming service, but they just shared some rare numbers to celebrate Bird Box‘s record-breaking first week!

Sandra Bullock‘s new movie was watched by 45,037,125 Netflix accounts in its first week.

“Took off my blindfold this morning to discover that 45,037,125 Netflix accounts have already watched Bird Box — best first 7 days ever for a Netflix film!” the streamer posted on Twitter.

If you want to compare the viewership to how movies perform in the theaters, we can multiply that number by the average movie ticket price for 2018, which is $9.38. If all of the people who watched the movie on Netflix went to see it in theaters, the movie would have grossed $422,448,232!
