Directors Guild Awards 2019 - Nominees Revealed!

The Directors Guild of America has revealed their picks for the top directors of the year!

The DGA selected Alfonso Cuaron for Roma, Bradley Cooper for A Star Is Born, Spike Lee for BlacKkKlansman, Adam McKay for Vice and Peter Farrelly for Green Book in the feature film category.

In the first-time director category, DGA nominated Bo Burnham for Eighth Grade, Bradley Cooper for A Star Is Born, Carlos Lopez Estrada for Blindspotting, Matthew Heineman for A Private War and Boots Riley for Sorry to Bother You.

Historically, the DGA Award has predicated the Best Director winner at the Academy Awards, with all but seven of the winners since 1948 going on to win the Oscar.

The DGA winners will be announced at the 71st Annual DGA Awards on February 2. See all the nominees below!
