Brooklyn Nine-Nine is winning!

The series, which was originally canceled by FOX after five seasons before being picked up by NBC for Season 6, delivered its highest ratings in two years with the first episode of the new season, according to EW.

The premiere had a viewership of 3.6 million viewers, up 71% from its fifth season premiere in 2017.

Lin-Manuel Miranda, a well-documented fan of the series who campaigned for the show’s renewal among other stars, celebrated the news with a funny tweet on Friday (January 11).

“EXCUSE ME WHILE I HIGH FIVE THE SUN,” he tweeted. See his post below!
