Heather Locklear Splits with Boyfriend Chris Heisser to Focus on Her Sobriety

Heather Locklear is focusing on her health in 2019.

At the end of December, the 57-year-old actress left a treatment facility to celebrate Christmas with her family in Los Angeles, a friend tells People.

Heather intended to return to rehab after the holidays, but is now “doing out-patient rehab at home” with the help of her family.

“She’s doing great. She has her parents staying with her, which has been great for everyone truly close to her,” the friend shares. “The fact that her parents are now staying with her is a good development and comforting.”

Back in June 2018, Heather was hospitalized for an overdose after allegedly getting arrested for punching a police officer who was called to her house over a family disturbance. She shortly entered rehab afterwards.

Heather‘s friend also revealed that she and on/off boyfriend Chris Heisser had split so she could focus on staying sober.

“By her making this move, it gives her a great reset button on what is most important and that is her sobriety,” the friend shared before adding that Chris “did not help her sustain her goals of sobriety.”
