Prince William Says A Lot of Celebrities Shunned His Mental Health Charity

Prince William is opening up about the stigma of mental health.

If you don’t know, back in 2017, Prince William, Prince Harry, and Duchess Kate Middleton created Heads Together to help combat the stigma over mental health.

While speaking at the Davos World Economic Forum, Prince William told the crowd that “a lot” of celebrities said no to a partnership with his organization.

“For some reason, people are embarrassed about their emotions – British people particularly,” he said (via the BBC). “A whole generation inherited [this way of coping]. This was the way you deal with your problems: you don’t talk about it.”
