Celebrities React to Donald Trump Temporarily Ending Government Shutdown

Donald Trump announced on Friday (January 25) that he will sign a bill to temporarily end the historic 35-day government shutdown, and stars are speaking out about his actions.

The temporary deal will reopen the government for three weeks through February 15 so that border security negotiations can continue with the effects of the shutdown.

“Shutting down the government shouldn’t even be allowed for any reason. This feels like non-partisan common sense for the American people. We should all be furious it happens at all,” wrote Josh Groban.
