Emily Blunt Wins a SAG Award for 'A Quiet Place'
Emily Blunt accepts her award on stage at the 2019 Screen Actors Guild Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (January 27) in Los Angeles.
The 35-year-old actress won the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role for her work in A Quiet Place.
Emily is also nominated in the Lead Actress category for her work in Mary Poppins Returns. She was completely snubbed at the Oscars though.
“The entire experience of doing this with you has completely pierced my heart directly,” Emily told her husband John Krasinski during her acceptance speech. “You are a stunning filmmaker. I’m so lucky to be with you and to have done this film with you. Thank you for giving me the part! You would have been in major trouble if you hadn’t!”
FYI: Emily is wearing a custom Michael Kors dress, Sam Edelman shoes, a Jimmy Choo clutch, and Forevermark jewelry. John is wearing custom Isaia, Tod’s shoes, and an IWC watch.
