Viggo Mortensen Talks His Oscar Nomination for 'Green Book'

Viggo Mortensen is sharing his thoughts about his Best Actor Oscar nomination for his film Green Book!

The 60-year-old Captain Fantastic actor stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday (January 31) in Los Angeles.

“I have to say, since probably Lord of the Rings, I haven’t seen and heard so much intensely passionate reaction to a movie,” he told host Jimmy Kimmel. “I can’t tell you how many people have come up to me and said, ‘I’ve seen it three times and I’m going to take so-and-so … to see it.’ It’s great.”

Viggo added, “By the way, to the people in Watertown, New York, which is way up north, and Sandpoint, Idaho – I know my movies don’t usually make it there, but Green Book is doing so well that it’s in theaters in Sandpoint, Idaho, and Watertown, New York.”
