'Dune' Reboot With Timothee Chalamet Sets Fall 2020 Release

The upcoming Dune reboot has officially announced a release date!

Warner Bros. just revealed that the star-studded flick, which will star Timothee Chalamet, is set to be released on November 20, 2020.

Set in the distant future, Dune follows Paul Atreides, whose family assumes control of the desert planet Arrakis. As the only producer of a highly valuable resource, jurisdiction over Arrakis is contested among competing noble families. After Paul and his family are betrayed, the story explores themes of politics, religion, and man’s relationship with nature, as Paul leads a rebellion to restore his family’s reign.

The cast includes Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, Charlotte Rampling, and Stellan Skarsgard with Zendaya, Jason Momoa and Oscar Isaac in talks to join.

The film will reportedly begin shooting in Budapest and Jordan this spring.
