Matt Bomer Opens Dublin International Film Fest with 'Papi Chulo'

Matt Bomer is dapper in a suit as he attends a photo call for the opening of the 2019 Dublin International Film Festival held on Wednesday (February 20) in Dublin, Ireland.

The 41-year-old actor was joined at the event by his co-star Alejandro Patiño and writer-director John Butler as they’re set to have the first premiere of the festival with their film Papi Chulo.

“I can’t wait to see it with an Irish audience,” Matt expressed at the press event. “I lived in Ireland when I was a kid and was just a fledgling actor, so the fact so much serendipity has occurred for me to now be back here with a movie with an Irish filmmaker, funded by the Irish Film Board, getting to head off the Dublin Film Festival is beyond a pinch-me moment for me.”

Papi Chulo follows the unlikely friendship that blossoms between a lonely TV weatherman (Bomer) and the Latino migrant worker (Patiño) he employs.

FYI: Matt is wearing Wolf & Shepherd boots.
